Jacqueline Hewitt is a hydrologist and aquatic biologist with experience in California fisheries, water quality data collection and analysis, riparian physical habitat characterization, streamflow gaging, and fluvial geomorphology. Her educational background is in hydrologic processes, environmental impact analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Jacqueline’s work has focused on the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta as well as the San Francisco Estuary and its tributary rivers and streams. Her fieldwork experience has ranged from identifying and handling fish and wildlife, to installing and maintaining stream and rain gages. A California native, Jacqueline enjoys hiking, surfing, and skiing, and she is learning how to crochet.
