Zoe Pfahler has a background in earth and soil sciences, fluvial geomorphology, and environmental consulting. She recently completed her master’s degree in earth and planetary sciences at UC Davis, studying the geomorphology and sediment dynamics of the Pajaro River. At Balance, Zoe performs field measurements of streamflow and installs and maintains hydrologic monitoring equipment, among other field activities. Outside of work, Zoe can be found hiking, climbing or exploring outside, reading, or painting.
