
Ella Myr is a hydrologist who supports the installation and maintenance of hydrological monitoring equipment and the monitoring of streamflow. She has a background in working with permit processes related to groundwater resources in Sweden. Through designing and performing hydrogeological field investigations, she has gained experience in collecting and analyzing hydrogeological data to assess groundwater quantity and quality. Ella’s deep interest in sustainable development and the complex interaction between the environment and society led her into the field of geography. Graduate studies in hydrology and hydrogeology deepened her knowledge in modeling and geographical information systems, analyzing rainfall-induced soil erosion in Sweden. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find Ella road biking in the Santa Cruz mountains or exploring new hiking trails.
